Perception, social constructs, (power) relations, nature and transformation are recurring subjects in the multifaceted work of Chrischa Venus Oswald.
The artist draws her inspiration from different fields such as poetry and ancient mythology, rituals or magic as well as language and communication. She weaves aspects of symbolism, documentation or psychology into her performances, photographic and video works or mixed media collages. Her work is driven by the intention and curiosity to artistically investigate and reflect the Conditio Humana and behavior or scenarios resulting from it.

I´m alive
