I started this series about and later with my granny when she was already in her mid-eighties.
It was continued until her death in March 2014 and later on documenting what´s left and what´s missing as she´s gone. The idea is to make an artist book with the vast material accumulated. It will be a hommage as well as a memory.

What you can see here is only a selection that might change in my current process.
As my granny was not very keen on the idea of leaving home (for various reasons) resp. the area of her house and garden (which was half of her life) so much there is a kind of defined territory, a very compact space where most of her life happened, especially in her later years when I started to photograph her, so also with this regard it makes sense to me to finalize the work as a book as well at some point.
