Well... you don´t have to understand fully, it´s Avantgarde ; ) It´s a bit like Dada meets a commercial for a cult meets self-help meets artistic gibber.
It´s also thought of as a "campaign"... to join/become the Avantgarde (which is of course a bit stupid/ironic bc as someone wanting to be Avantgarde you won´t watch a video prob to be recruited or go to "Avantgarde-Training" but you do your thing).
It´s a campaign like TRUMP 2020 but advertising the Avantgarde.
So it uses means that might recall the aesthetic of an Avantgarde at a certain time but aren´t Avantgarde in 2020 – because: what is Avantgarde in 2020?
It longs for the idea of Avantgarde while making fun of it in a way, too.
When it says "Listen & Repeat" and there is my younger self trying to move my lips synchronously to the text of the computer voice it´s like I was trying to say a kind of absurd text as a training-camp for doing/saying things people don´t understand (see!)...
Then it´s reversed and it´s like another part of the training to reverse things and question them, question language etc.
Eventually the message is in the "try again", "learn" and the "it´s never too early to let go of strong preferences that limit your experimentation" (which was in my horoscope kinda like this today but which i also think crucial for art and artists – and every human being to not get stuck)...
And you have all that dramatic sounds that create suspension and make things big blabla which got inspired by the Trump campaign actually

The text I`m speaking resp. the google translate voice is speaking is actually a part of the ´google translated and edited version of a FB-Chat I once had with a friend (in 2014) where we ended up with the conclusion that we´d be the avant-garde...
It´s a mashup of these snippets and elements of "pop"-culture/consumer culture, bold headlines, dramatic sounds, trying to lure the viewer into another territory, that of him consuming things that confuse him and don´t just give him instant pleasure and comfort.
